We are a conduit for service-connected veterans to grow a healthy community, with like minded people, through the process of fly fishing.

ARE YOU A FISHING CLUB?

No. We offer a two year program that teaches service-connected veterans the skills to become a confident, successful angler.

WHO CAN ATTEND?

Patriots On The Fly is for service-connected veterans. Guests are welcome.

HOW OFTEN DO YOU MEET?

Classes are held the 3rd Thursday of every month from 7-9 PM at VFW Post 1500 in Willoughby, OH.

ARE YOU A 501(C)3?

Yes. Patriots On The Fly is a non-profit charitable, educational organization under the IRS. We are also a charter club of Fly Fishers International Inc. (Our EIN number is available on request)

WHY ARE WE PART OF FLY FISHERS INTERNATIONAL INC.?

As a Charter Club of FFI, Patriots On The Fly gains access to industry partners, as well as comprehensive learning modules. We also benefit by receiving reduced insurance premiums and support for federal tax filings.

HOW MUCH OF YOUR MONEY GOES TO THE VETERANS?

100% of our funding goes toward programming for veterans. All classes, programs and outings are run by volunteers.

 

WHAT CAN DONORS EXPECT?

Donors can expect fiscal responsibility, accountability, and online recognition. We are volunteer based and 100% of our funding goes toward programming for service-connected veterans. (You will also receive our undying gratitude!)
